ProSafe Galvanic Isolation
Interrupts galvanic circuit with other boats and the dock when your boat is plugged into a shore power system, Maintains AC safety ground and solves the most common cause of corrosion. Protects against zinc loss. U.L. tested to the new ABYC A-28 recommendation, effective July 1, 2001 this new series provides unmatched performance and capability. The ABYC recommendation requires the galvanic isolator to be tested and monitored to insure that the isolator will provide galvanic isolation and that there is a safety AC green wire (ground) aboard the boat from the shore cable. It also requires that the status is readily apparent to the user.
ProSafe Systems consist of the galvanic isolator, the monitoring electronics and a remote display.
