Southeast Marine Services :: Rolls Marine Batteries

Notice;  The price of lead has once again increased dramatically on the world market with a commensurate increase in battery prices and appears likely to continue the present upward spiral. The last time lead did this it stayed high for over two years. If you have been putting off buying batteries, you may wish to purchase now before the cost of lead pushes prices even higher.

An important question; How can I know that the batteries I purchase have been properly maintained?

Southeast Marine orders and stocks all marine batteries dry. They have not been sitting on a shelf for some months uncharged with accumulated lead sulfate.. You can choose either dry or activated and charged. Activated and charged batteries will be shipped with a test sheet recording the specific gravity of each cell, the temperature of the electrolyte at the time of the test, battery voltage and load test results. Do not buy batteries unless the seller provides you with this information.

Read the following Shipping Information before ordering.

Shipping prices change rapidly so the shipping quoted by the shopping cart may not be accurate. We will confirm shipping costs at the time of order.

Note: Batteries over 100 lbs will ship by truck.

Batteries under 100 lbs will ship best way at our option usually UPS. These batteries will  be shipped dry with activation instructions to avoid hazardous materials charges unless otherwise specified by customer. There will be a $15.00 special handling  fee per battery and hazardous charges will apply as wet batteries must be shipped by truck and trucking companies charge a minimum. It is better to ship batteries under 100 pounds dry  There is an 8% manufacturers surcharge for dry charged batteries but no hazardous charges will apply.
